Finally, I have a good spot to record all the little behaviors and funny pronunciations my kids have come up with in the last 4 years! Reminded of a few today...

ah-peas - Help please!
When you ask, "Who wants to (insert anything)?"  she yells, "ME!"
When asked what sound a variety of animals make, she responds by smacking her lips (?!)
All yes/no questions are first answered with a 'N-yo'
b-i-b-i, bobble! - The b-i-b-l-e, BIBLE!

Her first word was Mom, her second word was Poop :)

dating

today I showed Annabelle where I used to live when Joe and I were dating.
a-"what's dating?"
-when you get to know each other to figure out if you want to get married.
a- "did you just get together and talk, talk, talk."
-yes
a-"why would you want to do that?"
-yeah, that's kinda how your dad felt about it, too.

Freeze Dancing

It's 8:30 and my kids should be in bed. But, no, they are freeze dancing with their dad to ABC and Taylor Swift. Annabelle is trying out her new ballet moves, Maggie just keeps spinning, then stopping to laugh, Belle is trying to get in the middle of it, and Libby and I are keeping our post on the couch. Joe has been trying to teach AB how to do the spin in, then back out thing and it just isn't there yet. I'm sure there will be many nights of practice to come. Our new picture window has created a perfect dancing 'mirror' for the two girls. I keep catching them walking past it and pausing to take a look at themselves. So, when they wake up tired and grouchy, it was worth it. Many new moves were created tonight. Hey, dancing is hard work.

My first blog post :) Maggabelle is currently 18m and 4 years. Today, our first actually girl 'cat' fight. Oh yes, on the ground, pulling hair. Fabulous. Calgon take me away...
