ahhhhh summer...

i always say i like cold weather. and i do.  i love my jeans, my wool socks, my vests.  i love the feel of a crisp breeze.  but, something happens in May. my sandals come out, i bring out the capris and i start making iced tea by the barrel.  i still hate to sweat and i hate the feeling of not being able to escape the pressing humidity, but something about summer agrees with me.  maybe it's the lack of schedule.  or the smell of the trees.  the awesome thunderstorms. sitting by water.  watching the girls grow and begin to enjoy the same things is like a sweet trip down memory lane.  i'm just eating it up.  i can't get enough of them right now.  maybe it's the looming start of kindergarten that is just making me want to soak up every second of them.  so, as my curly hair becomes  'un-rulier' in the hazy air, i'm heading to my lawn chair to take it all in.

sooo, it's February :)

So, I guess I didn't keep up with blogging :)  But, I did however, survive another holiday season,  brave the cold of January and cabin fever with two small children.  Now onto February.  Still not used to writing 2011.  Goal, add more pictures to the blog.  I will get right on this...when I figure out how :)
